DESCRIPTION:The Valley Church is a Nextgen Now church! \nBeing a NextGen Now church means that we believe the next generation is the church of today\, not of tomorrow. \nTherefore\, we are excited to announce the relaunch of our Teen Ministry in Fall of 2024 as we pursue what it means to equip\, guide\, and disciple the younger generation in a Christ-centered environment. \nWhat does this mean for The Valley Church? \nWe are relaunching the Teen Ministry in the Fall with an all-new program and ways to plug in! We will begin meeting on Sunday nights for youth group for grades 6th-12th on Sept 15th.\nSince the Teen Ministry will meet on Sunday nights we will no longer meet on Sunday morning for Ignite. This frees up and encourages our teens to get plugged in on a Sunday morning through serving and worship with family and friends in the main service. They will also discover more about how they belong in the Body of Christ. They are valuable to our church family and we are excited to see how they use their God-given gifts to serve others through these newly opened opportunities! \nSunday nights are for teens in and OUTSIDE the church! On Sunday evenings from 6pm-7:30pm\, we will have youth group for teens to grow in the community with their peers.  Our goal is to love teens\, develop leaders\, and share the Gospel. Sunday evenings are going to be high fun\, high relationship\, and high age level discipleship. We want Sunday nights to be the best place in Piqua for teens on a Sunday night! We’ll have games\, worship\, small group time\, powerful messages\, and of course food! Sunday evenings allow us to create an environment where teens/students can be themselves\, ask questions\, and find hope as they grow in their relationship with God and with others. \nWe are looking forward to relaunching the Teen Ministry and watching as God opens doors to impact teens’ lives for years to come! DESCRIPTION:Join us for our Summer 2024 Mission Trip! \nThe Valley Church Teens’ are going on a mission trip to Indianapolis\, Indiana\, on June 9th-June 14th! This trip is for completed grades 8th-12th! We will be partnering with an organization called YouthWorks. (You can visit their website at youthworks.com) Our ministry projects will include; helping with outdoor projects\, homeless shelters\, VBS\, serving in the community\, and more! We will be staying at a facility run by the YouthWorks Organization and we will join with a few other youth groups to serve the community and be the hands and feet of God! \nRegistration deadline and initial $75 deposit is due February 1st. The total cost of the trip is $475. This includes transportation\, food\, lodging\, and any project supplies. Payment can be made in four different installments leading up to the trip. (We are only able to take 24 students\, so sign up as soon as you can!) **Students going on the trip will be asked to attend 4 pre-trip meetings during Feb-June. These meeting will be held on Sundays and are mandatory. \nHow to start registration? We are a Next Gen Now church and we are going to do whatever it takes to reach kids for Christ. \nPray that God would use us as a church and sign up!
