DESCRIPTION:Together\, we’re going to start the new year pursuing God through prayer and fasting\, asking Him to reveal His will and power in 2023 for our church and our own lives. This will set the course for the rest of the year because we are releasing the principle found in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness\, and all these things shall be added to you.” \nWe’re asking everyone to do a partial fast called the Daniel Fast\, which eliminates rich and sweet foods. DESCRIPTION:Teenagers in grades 6th-12th! Looking to grow closer to God and serve your community? Then join us for Community Day on April 29th from 10am-7pm as we serve at the Bethany Center followed by a night of worship at The Valley Church. \nWe will be meeting at the church in the morning and then go to the Bethany Center to help clean\, organize\, and serve the organization. After that we will return to the church for dinner and some worship! This is a great way to serve the community and build community with your friends!  You will pack a lunch to eat throughout the day and then we will provide dinner that night. \nRegister by filling out this form (deadline is April 25th): \nBy registering you help us know how many vehicles we need for transportation\, how much food to provide for dinner\, and what supplies we will need for serving. The Valley Church is excited to offer its first ever parent conference called\, Adventures in Parenting on Saturday\, June 10 at our Troy campus on 916 N. Market Street in Troy \nKari Taylor\, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor from Cornerstone of Hope will be our keynote speaker followed by breakouts of your choice. This conference is for parents of children from birth-12th grade and includes programming for birth-5th grade. Mark your calendars today! \nAdventures in Parenting is on June 10 th from 9 AM – 12 PM.  Doors will open at 8:30. Light snacks and\ncoffee will be available to adults.
