Worship Arts Pastor

Shelly Rittenhouse

Shelly has been involved in music since her early high school years and has journeyed a road that has brought her to serving here at  The Valley. She graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor’s of  Arts in Biology and later went on to complete a Master’s degree in Elementary Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. For eight years of her career, Shelly spent time teaching students in both High School Biology and 3rd grade.  Her desire to see her students  progress academically grew into a passion to help others grow in their  spiritual lives through both worship and personal testimony.  Shelly’s  role is to plan, coordinate and develop a team of musicians that are  excited about being a part of meaningful worship each week. Shelly and her husband, Chris, have been attending The Valley for three years. Chris and Shelly have two daughters: Myla and Wren. Shelly enjoys coffee, quality conversation, being outdoors, personal development, and spending time with her family.
