Katie Vasil joined the Valley Troy staff in March 2024 after being part of the church since 2018. Katie, who is formally a teacher, has a heart for children from hard places. After teaching for 11 years, with degrees in elementary and special education, Katie started Seeds of Hope OH, local nonprofit that serves children in foster, kinship, and adoptive care. Katie and her family were also foster parents for 2 years. She is passionate about welcoming all children just as they are and sharing the love of Jesus through the Inclusion Ministry and Buddy Program. Katie is the mom of 3 girls, enjoys movies, reading, and connecting with the community!
