Jessica has been in Family Ministry since 2009. She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Children’s Ministry from Olivet Nazarene University as well as a Master’s of Organizational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene University. Jessica served as Youth Pastor at Lima Community Church in Lima, Ohio followed by Family and Children’s Pastor of Detroit First Church in Northville, Michigan. She joined the staff at The Valley in May of 2016. Jessica and her husband, Mark, were married in 2013 and have been doing ministry together ever since. They are the co-pastors of The Valley Church in Troy. She and Mark have two children, Dilan and Zalome. Jessica loves to travel, go to hockey and baseball games, and attend community events and festivals. Coffee, movies, the beach, and books are a few of her favorite things. Jessica loves kids, teens, and their grown-ups! She thinks families of all shapes and sizes can be part of God’s big story. Supporting families as they live on mission in their community and day-to-day activities excites her. Jessica’s role as Family Pastor is casting vision for the family ministries at The Valley Church, partnering with parents, and providing resources and ministry to families.
