This Year at the Valley, we are teaming up to help others for Christmas. Would you like to help families in need? Visit the Christmas trees in the Atrium and pick up a tag to adopt a Valley family who needs extra Christmas cheer, or to donate needed supplies to a local charity.
There are some families of all sizes on our tree. We encourage you to team up with another family or with your small group to make sure there is something for everyone.
You can give starting now through Christmas Eve!
Every year at our Christmas Eve services, 100% of our offering goes to bless local non-profit organizations that are meeting basic needs in our communities.
This year we are partnering The Mercy Mission House in Shelby County, and The Community Food Truck in Miami County. Click the links to learn how they are helping people in our communities.
Our goal is to see 100% participation and to have some fun with it, we are asking that every individual or family gives $29.95. Some of you may want to add a zero or two after the last number, as the Lord leads you!
Be extravagantly generous and discover the joy of giving - it’s who we are at The Valley Church. By crowdfunding this need, we hope to help 75-100 families through this offering and there are many, many people struggling with needs this year.
We are calling this offering, "Love Does." Why? Because the love of Jesus Christ compels us to do things to show others His love.
It is simple to give. Just click here : Give to Love Does or go to our Valley Church App or our website: go to the Give tab, and select the Love Does from the dropdown. If you plan to attend one of our onsite Christmas services, you can bring your gift and place it in the Joy Box.
Join us during our 9:15 and 11:00 services
Join us on the Piqua campus during the 9:15 and 11:00 services on December 5th. All preschoolers who attend will be part of an improv retelling of the Christmas story as storyteller Doug Smith narrates the action. Every preschooler will get a costume and be part of the action. It’s one of the most enjoyable retellings of the Christmas story we believe you’ll ever see!
Join as 9:15am or 11:00am on Sunday mornings, or at 4:15pm or 5:30 on Christmas Eve
The world seems to spin a little more off-tilt with every passing day. But fortunately, one thing never changes: the greatest story of hope, joy, peace, and love ever told. We’ll look at the gift of Christmas through the timeless and powerful scriptures and songs of Christmas.
Join us for a Classic Christmas as we focus in on the enduring reality that Christmas changes everything – even in our unbalanced and unstable world – and experience all Jesus came to bring us!
Ladies, come join us for the Christmas Edition of Mercy Street! Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need. -Matthew 6:33
God promises if we Seek Him First we will find Him…and we’ll also receive what we truly need as we learn to accept and pursue what God has for us. Join the entire congregation as we seek God in a week of prayer and fasting starting Monday, January 10, and going through lunchtime on Sunday, January 16.
We’ll fast, pray, and hear from God about the year ahead. Our focus will be seeking God for our lives, our church, and for people who don’t yet know Christ. During the week we encourage everyone to participate in a Daniel-style fast - no meats, sweets, and breads. Guides will be available for you online or to pick up in the atrium.
You can also join an interactive Facebook group that will journey through the week together by sharing what God is teaching us, scriptures that impact us, answers to prayer, and more.
We will wrap up the week with a Night of Prayer & Praise, January 16, 6:00 pm at The Troy Campus. A special focus will be on God’s provision and direction for the new Sidney Campus.

There will also be a child dedication class on Feb 6th at 9:15 for parents who have registered to dedicate their children.

Baptism is an outward act of obedience that represents the inward change that God has already worked in your life when you said yes to a relationship with Him. Baptism shows the redeeming power of God, and tells the world we have been made new! It represents our sinful life being washed clean because of our faith in Jesus. – Romans 6:4
For those who have chosen to follow Jesus, a great next step of obedience is to be baptized. We celebrate baptism in our worship services. This is a great day to invite your friends and family as you publicly commit your life to following Jesus.
To prepare for this day, we offer an eight-week one-on-one Bible Study called the Journey. To sign up for the journey, simply click on this link: https://thevalley.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/28/responses/new
Our next baptism service is on April 24th! To sign up (or click this link), fill out the form below at least two weeks prior to the service. https://thevalley.ccbchurch.com/goto/forms/29/responses/new
