Just like any other relationship, we need to invest time and effort into getting to know each other, who God is, and what he wants for us.
Serving moves us beyond receiving and compels us to give ourselves to advance God’s Kingdom in the world.
We do that based on how God has designed and shaped each of us. It’s is how we demonstrate His love in the world. We don’t just want to talk about the things Jesus asked us to do, we want to actually do them!
As you grow in your relationship with God we invite you to commit to serving others both at The Valley and in our community.
Baptism is an outward act of obedience that represents the inward change that God has already worked in your life when you said yes to a relationship with Him. Baptism shows the redeeming power of God, and tells the world we have been made new! It represents our sinful life being washed clean because of our faith in Jesus. – Romans 6:4
For those who have chosen to follow Jesus, a great next step of obedience is to be baptized.
To prepare we ask those being baptized to complete the Journey, an eight-week one-on-one Bible Study called the Journey in preparation for that day.

This 8-week Journey explores trusting Jesus, eternal life, what God expects, prayer, the Bible, sharing your faith, giving, the church and more.
You do the study at home and then meet for an hour once a week with a mature Christian to discuss the study and answer any questions you have.
God has designed us to grow closer to Him by doing life together with others!
Life Groups are small groups of 7-12 people who explore God’s Word, serve and do life together – it’s where real life change can happen. Plus, this journey with Jesus isn’t just about us – we are to care for others and that happens best in groups.
Life groups are available in person and online.
When we give our time, talents, or financial gifts, we give God the chance to prove His faithfulness.
Malachi 3:10 says we are to bring all the tithes into the store house so there will be enough food in my Temple.
“If you do, says the lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in!”
