DESCRIPTION:Together\, we’re going to start the new year pursuing God through prayer and fasting\, asking Him to reveal His will and power in 2023 for our church and our own lives. This will set the course for the rest of the year because we are releasing the principle found in Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness\, and all these things shall be added to you.” \nWe’re asking everyone to do a partial fast called the Daniel Fast\, which eliminates rich and sweet foods. Some say it because it’s the one time that they get to worship together as an entire family. For others\, it’s singing familiar Christmas and praise songs with lots of other voices. Many tell us they love when we light candles at the end of the service\, and others want to hear a fresh and powerful message of God’s rescue mission to us here on earth. DESCRIPTION:Maybe the thought of Christmas brings to mind presents\, parties\, classic songs\, and nostalgic movies\, or it could be baby Jesus in the manger\, angels\, and wise men. Most of us don’t think of Christmas in the terms of a mission being accomplished but that is exactly what happened. During this series\, we will discover how Christmas started with God before the world was created and continues with each of us fulfilling the mission with our lives. \nJoin us in person or online each Sunday morning at 9:15am or 11:00am. DESCRIPTION:This year we will receive a special Christmas Eve offering at both campuses that will provide food\, clothing\, medicine\, and help with heating/electricity bills that are overwhelming many families. Because Love Does…we want to join together as a church and take real action to sacrificially help others. \nThe goal is to crowdfund this need and help 100 families in our area. Just think\, if we all gave $29.95 we would be able to make a huge impact with families and meet some of the tremendous needs in our area (some can add a zero on the end and multiply their gift).
