Rebekah Powell started attending the Valley Church in 2018, volunteering in various areas before joining staff in May 2024. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Wright State University. Prior to joining staff, she was a stay-at-home mom and had prior employment in customer service and childcare. Stephanie grew up in New Carlisle and was a member of the United Methodist Church. Rebekah has been a 4-H camp counselor as well as a youth leader and counselor through the West Ohio Conference for the Methodist church. In college she was a member, Bible study leader, and discipleship partner with Campus Crusade for Christ. As a child, she saw first-hand the impact of a camp counselor who led her to Christ and has a heart to bring the word of Jesus into the hearts of other kids. Rebekah is married to Brice Powell and they have three boys, Mason, Levi, and Jacob. When she is not at the church she loves to read, watch movies, watch baseball/football and hang out with her family.
